for bluefin tuna and local blue fish, through the Associazione Produttori Tonnieri del Tirreno soc. coop. of which he has been a founding member since 1977. The APTT is the first institution to have obtained recognition in Italy of POs whose members are authorized to practice sustainable fishing for small and large pelagics in the Mediterranean. 

The strong point is undoubtedly the technologically advanced naval fleet and the precious experience gained over the years, guaranteeing a wise selection of products. The catch is local, safe and of the highest quality. In addition, it is obtained with sustainable techniques, including seining a type of fishing that does not damage the seabed, since the net is lowered only on the shoals that make up the fishing target. Accidental catches are minimal and the seabed is not even touched.

Another ace of the company is the renewed distribution service. Since 2020, in fact, to ensure customers the best in terms of quality and freshness, “Tonno Rosso” also deals with the distribution of its catch, through its own refrigerated vehicles capable of delivering, directly and quickly, fresh fish products mainly to wholesalers on national and European territory.
